Alexander Meade

Producer, Audio Engineer, Musician

Alex Meade is a music producer, audio engineer, and musician currently residing in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. In addition to his freelance activities, he is the lead mixing engineer at Moustache Music and a faculty member of the Music Production and Engineering program at the Nova Scotia Community College. He holds a degree in music from Acadia University where he studied jazz guitar and music technology.

Alex has worked with Grammy nominated and Juno winning artists including: Bit Funk (Los Angeles), Sofi Tukker (NYC), The Knocks (NYC), Le Youth (Los Angeles), Viceroy (Los Angeles), Lowell (Toronto), Laura Roy (London), AlphaCub (Toronto), Classified (Halifax), Nicole Ariana (Halifax), Scientists of Sound (Halifax), Aquakultre (Halifax), Avery Dakin (Halifax), Tommy Green Jr (Halifax), Cassie and Maggie (Halifax), and Rankin MacInnis (Cape Breton).

As composer and engineer Alex has worked with business clients that include Wave Alchemy, Halifax Civic Events, Clean Nova Scotia, A for Adventure, The Halifax Mooseheads, Journeyman Film Company, and New Brooklyn Media.
